One aspect of smart WebTM that merits further explanation is our Geographic Information Systems (GIS for short) offering. GIS is software that knows: it knows geography; it knows data; and it knows layering. It also knows how to link those layers. Any organization going somewhere (an expanding or relocating business, for example) wants GIS - especially GIS that is accessible over the Internet. And any organization wanting to land that relocating business (an economic development group, say) better be able to provide it. dot.org can provide it for you.
